Double JK Ranch is located in beautiful Sandia Park, New Mexico, in the mountains just east of Albuquerque.  Jeff and Jan Kokos, owners, are both busy professionals who devote much of their spare time to their horses.  The lovely wooded area, fresh air, and incredible New Mexico skies provide a picture-perfect setting for the beautiful and athletic horses they are breeding.

"Everywhere we go, we are met with excitement and enthusiasm over our black stallion, Santa Fe Bey. He's tall, correct, and just plain drop-dead gorgeous!  He possesses fluid, floating movement, beautifully sloping shoulders, a strong hip, a long, elegant neck, and a magnificent head.  Santa Fe Bey has stamped his first foal crops with all these fine qualities, plus his beautiful tipped ears and teacup muzzle.

"Many mare owners are struck by his black color and are hoping for black foals, and all are taken by Santa Fe Bey's beauty, presence, and incredible pedigree.  Although the black color is always a goal, we believe that quality, correctness, disposition, and athletic ability are far more important.

"Our small broodmare band is composed mostly of partbred Arabians.  Their pedigrees trace to some of the greatest horses of the Arabian breed."  Names like *Bask and his sons *Gdansk, Tornado, and Gai-Robert; Fame VF, *Aladdinn, *Naborr, Comet, *Silver Drift, *GG Samir, Amerigo, Errabi, and Abu Farwa pop from the first three generations.  The Santa Fe Bey foals these mares are producing are exceptional.

The babies are all handled daily,  and are very gentle and friendly.
